450 million years old slate, hand carved and depicting the view from Penyghent Yorkshire Dales, at altitude 2,273ft, of a barn, tree, foliage and the Dales.
Made of beautiful cold green smooth marble, trimmed in brass hardware.
The tachometer is German.
It seems to be telling the weather accurately, although I can't say for sure.
It's a wonderful Man-Toy none the less and should make for a charming gift.

Penyghent peak is 2,277ft high, the smallest of the 3 Yorkshire Peaks.

24cm x 14cm x 6cm. The slate is 1cm thick.

The paperweight measure 5.5cm high x 8cm diameter.
